HRV CLEANING

WHAT IS HRV?

In the modern world there are many advancements and improvements in home or building. As compared to the building practices, homes are more air tighter. That creates problem for home residents— limited amount of fresh air circulation throughout the home. To curb out such problem for home residents Heat Recovery Ventilator (“HRV”) is a system that exchanges the idol and dirty indoor air with fresh outdoor air. An HRV system can be established through ductwork of a forced-air system.

At the time of transferring of indoor air to outdoor and from outdoor air to indoor air, balance to maintain and keep air pressure indoor and outdoor is very much necessary. An good balanced system of air pressure can result in better airflow and better heat recovery, however, unbalance system can bring worse. Therefore, please don’t rely on DIY methods which will surely bring much complication with loss to time and money. You should rely on professionals and trustworthy HVAC Company. Our experience and services will ease your complications.

HRV AND DEHUMIDIFIER

HRV is much effective and cheaper to run in winter than Dehumidifier. It is recommended that dehumidifier should not be used in winter but in spring, when normally AC turned off. In summer, you may occasionally need dehumidifier when the outdoor air gets extremely hot and humid and AC is struggling to keep up. In a newly constructed home you may need to run dehumidifier longer than as usual because the home at that time will be at drying out.

Humidifier is common if you are a resident of airy home, in such situation there is a possibility that your residency may be over dry in winter and you need to add humidifier for humidity. We do not like and do not advise such behavior and we discourage such practice.

But if high humidity is a wonted problem, than it can only be solved by installing a heat-recovery ventilator (HRV). An HRV is a ventilation unit that was first introduced into too-tight homes to supply and distribute fresh air, and expel excess warm, moist air. The great thing about an HRV is that it captures heat in outbound air and reuses that energy to condition (heat or cool) inbound fresh air. Today, they’re used in all kinds of applications to reduce humidity, promote better air flow and help cut energy costs.

HRV JOB

The HRV attaches to your home’s ducting in two channels firstly it distributes fresh air into the house and in the second way it takes idol air from home to outside. The unit is also tied to exterior vents at two adjoints. An upper vent exhausts indoor air; a lower vent collects fresh air from outside. Air flows through the HRV in both directions simultaneously, and is drawn into the unit’s heat-exchange core, which is where the magic happens.
